The Aerial Attack Football Machine is an essential tool for football programs looking to enhance their practice sessions without breaking the budget. This machine delivers powerful and precise right-footed spiral punts, as well as end-over-end kickoffs, ensuring a versatile training experience. Whether it’s for receiving, defensive drills, or special teams practice, this unit can throw both long and short passes with accuracy. Its ability to pivot in any direction challenges defensive coverages and allows for pinpoint throws, improving player performance and positioning.
Built with durable polyurethane throwing wheels, the machine firmly grips the ball to generate an accurate spin on each throw, whether it’s a pass or a punt. These wheels also come with protective guards, designed to prevent accidental contact and to maintain optimal performance even in inclement weather. This added safety feature makes it a reliable training tool under any condition.
With two independently controlled electric motors, the Aerial Attack provides near-instantaneous recovery times between throws, allowing for rapid-fire drills. Its powerful motors offer enough energy to place the football anywhere on the field, ideal for practices requiring high repetition, such as defensive drills, interception practice, and kick return preparation.
- Throwing Distance: 5 to 80+ yards

- Speed Control: Accessible and visible controls for safety during operation
- Accuracy: Exceptional, repeatable throws thanks to solid wheels
- Power: Two direct-drive motors with no loss of power
- Use on Carts: Compatible with universal cart post clamp
- Use with Generator: Yes
- Ball Requirements: Do not use synthetic leather balls; full-grain leather recommended
The Aerial Attack Football Machine boasts an industrial-grade steel-plated frame, ensuring its strength and resistance to harsh weather conditions. Its solid polyurethane wheels provide exceptional grip and accuracy while also reducing wear on footballs. The machine is engineered to require minimal maintenance, with sealed bearings that last the lifetime of the motor. Furthermore, its wide tripod base offers superior stability during use, making it safe and reliable in various training conditions.
The design also emphasizes convenience, with wide transport wheels that allow the machine to be easily moved on and off the field. The accessible controller is strategically placed away from the throwing wheels for added safety during operation.

What is the weight of the Aerial Attack when broken down?
With legs included, it weighs 115 lbs.
What is the size of the Aerial Attack when broken down?
On tripod legs, it is 36” (L) x 36” (W) x 56” (H).
What type of assembly is necessary upon first receipt of my new Aerial Attack, and are any special tools required?
Minimal assembly is required—simply attach the tripod to the machine. No tools are needed.
How is the Aerial Attack most commonly transported?
Tilt the machine down, remove the two front legs, and use the rear leg to guide and transport it.
How is the Aerial Attack moved around the football field?
The machine has two large, solid rolling wheels for moving it on and off the field. The throwing wheels never touch the ground.
Are there specifications for the balls that perform best with the Aerial Attack?
Both leather and composite balls work best when properly inflated (10 to 13 lbs.). It is designed for a standard football (high school level and above) and will not throw youth-size balls.
Are there any balls that do not perform well with the Aerial Attack?
Youth balls, undersized, or under-inflated balls will not perform well.
Does it throw wet balls?
No, the balls need to be dry. Wet balls will slip, and the wheels won't grip properly.
What is the height of the ball release point of the machine?
The ball release point on the tripod is 50″.
How accurate is this machine?
Extremely accurate, especially when using the same brand of balls and maintaining proper inflation.
What are the full load operating amps for the Aerial Attack?
1.5 continuous amps.
What is an acceptable extension cord length, and what type do I need?
Use a #14/3 grounded power cord up to 200 feet. For longer cords, consult a licensed electrician.
Why is there no battery-powered version of the Aerial Attack?
Battery-powered units have longer recovery times, inconsistent performance as the battery drains, and expensive replacement costs. We recommend using a generator instead.
Can the machine be operated with a generator?
Yes, but it must generate "clean electricity." We recommend a 1000W to 2000W Honda generator with inverter technology.
What happens if the machine is used with a generator that doesn’t generate “clean electricity”?
Power surges from non-clean electricity generators will cause erratic performance, leading to inconsistent passes.
What is the range of ball speeds the machine can deliver?
It can deliver passes up to 70 MPH.
What adjustments are required to change the type of pass?
Adjust the velocity, as well as horizontal and vertical settings.
What is the advantage of the Aerial Attack design compared to competitors?
The Aerial Attack does not scar balls, is portable, easy to use, has a quick recovery time, and features lighter, more durable polyurethane wheels.
What makes the Aerial Attack machine wheels higher in quality?
The wheels are made of durable polyurethane, with no air pressure issues. Sports Attack has never needed to replace a ball-throwing wheel due to wear.
Will the machine attach to a transport cart?
Yes, it adapts to most carts using a universal cart clamp.
How are repairs and service handled for the Aerial Attack?
Components are easily replaced in the field.
What is the warranty on the Aerial Attack?
There is a 2-year manufacturer warranty on materials, workmanship, and wear components (throwing wheels, controllers, and motors).
